PRIVACY POLICY of Quinta da Alegria

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data processed by  Quinta da Alegria from its guests.

If you book a stay at Quinta da Alegria or for any other reason provide personal data to Quinta da Alegria, you expressly give permission to process your personal data in line with this Privacy Policy.

2.1 In the course of your stay the following personal data will be processed:

  • first and last name, date of birth, place of birth, sex
  • address data, possibly postal address
  • telephone number (s), e-mail address (es)
  • Passport data

2.2 Quinta da Alegria processes the personal data referred to in 2.1 for the following purposes:

  • your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will be used for contact about the provision of the information requested by you or the handling of the information you have obtained
  • your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will be used to register the bookings and correct their administrative processing
  • your name, address and telephone number is used to send invitations and information about services and activities of Quinta da Alegria;
  • Your name, address, passport details are used for proper handling with the Portuguese authorities being the Finanças and the SEF, the tax authorities and the foreigners service. The data is retained for as long as required by Portuguese legislation.
  • your name and bank account number is used to settle payments of purchased services.

2.3 Your name, email address and telephone number will be used up to two years after the end of the agreement to ask you about your experiences with Quinta da Alegria and to inform you about the developments of Quinta da Alegria

  1. Storage periods

 Quinta da Alegria processes and stores your personal data for the duration of your stay up to two years after the end of this stay or as long as this is required by Portuguese law regarding the storage of administration data for the tax authorities and foreigners. Subsequently the personal data will be destroyed.

 4.1 Quinta da Alegria has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

4.2 Quinta da Alegria uses third-party services for the processing of personal data.

4.3 Quinta da Alegria uses a recognized accounting firm for the processing of administrative administration and handling with the tax authorities.
